Abstract

Social media has emerged as an engine of global influence, especially in areas related to health, fitness and body aesthetics. However, these platforms have worryingly facilitated the promotion and normalization of the use of anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS), which poses serious ethical, medical and social challenges.
